Camping with Grandma and Grandpa

For Labor Day we decided to go camping at Greens Peak. It is so beautiful there. My parents joined us, and we had a fun/relaxing trip. We did alot of relaxing, some hiking around and Marcus did alot of chopping wood. He found a new talent. Thank you dad for teaching him. We also enjoyed a drive up Greens Peak (I did drive up, and it was scary.) The view was amazing, what a great place we live in. While we were up there some people were flying airplanes off the side of the peak. We watched for awhile, until it was obvious that we were annoying them, but they were pretty cool.

The kids on the edge of the Peak.

My parents, they are awesome!

On one of our hikes, Marcus was riding is bike around, so my mom decided to see if she could remember how to ride a bike. She actually looked like a pro. Way to go mom.

Long Time No Posts

Okay, Okay I know that I am long over due for posting. I really want to keep up on this blog, but it seems that I always find something else to do with time. Oh, where oh, where does the time go. I will work on posting a few pictures of things that we did over the last six months. But for now I will recap.

Marcus went of 4 day camp out with the scouts-I missed him
We had an awesome Wiltbank family reunion-repelling, mini trek (1 mile, the
kids thought they were going to crook), anti-nephi lehi war on the back yard,
branding cows, and of course time at the lake.
Cleo and boys came for a visit.

To anyone who read this to the end, bless you. I will be better.

Olivia's Birthday

I can't believe Olivia is 6 years old. I am not sure what to do with her at times. She is in Kindergarten and loves it. She is loving her teacher and all of the friends she has. She really loves that she gets to play with her cousin Brooklyn at recess. We are so thankful for her and her smiley face (even if she is missing a tooth). We love you Olivia.
P.S. I made that cake and it turned out so cute. And it was super easy.

Pine-I forgot how much I love it there

We have not been to Pine since last summer, I forgot how much I love it! We spent the weekend relaxing and playing outside. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for providing this place for us.

Fossil Creek

During Spring break we went to Pine. While we were there we took the kids on a hike part of the way into Fossil Creek. It was a beautiful hike, someday I would like to complete the hike, (8 miles round trip). We really had a good time.

Repelling or (Throw your kid off a rock)

This was a first time for most of us, some liked it some did not! I didn't even try. I have to say this was one of the hardest things I have had to watch. I was crying when Alyssa was starting out. It was so hard to not be down there to help her. She was very scared and kept saying that she couldn't do it. For me to not be able to comfort her and have to watch was so tough (mom's are supposed to be able to help their children.) But what an awesome experience for all of the kids, to try something new and learn to trust in themselves. Thank you Dwain for bringing all of your equipment and sharing with us.
Alyssa had a hard time taking the first step off, but I truly admire her for taking that step. I am petrified of heights, and I couldn't do it, I could barely stand on the rock to take pictures. She actually loved everyminute after the first and went down 4 more times!

Carlynn loved this event, I wish I could overcome my fears, because they had such a great time.
I couldn't believe that Olivia went down the cliff, she is more brave than me. She went down 3 times. She wants to go back soon! I was am very proud of her!

This is Jordan's first time down, he LOVED it
and went several more times!

Celebrating Easter Early

For as long as Carl can remember his family has been going
down to the wash bed and hiding Easter eggs and having a
Pinata. This year we moved up the celebration a week, so
that we could also go repelling. We had a great weekend!
Here is Carl's brother Dwain resting after the days events.
And you can't see the nephew that Carl is teasing, but I think
he escaped.

Adam

Bud, I know that he just loves going down for the egg hunt. Atleast he doesn't have to hide the eggs anymore.
Pacer really got into the egg hunt this year.

I think she could see!

I also think Alyssa could see, but they had fun anyway.

Jacob's B-day

This is my nephew Jacob, I can't believe that he is 11 already. We finished up Spring Break by celebrating his birthday. Thank you Jacob for having a birthday.

He's Twelve

I can't believe that Marcus is TWELVE!! I am not a big fan of my kids growing up, ask Carl. I would really like them to stay little, plus I realize that with every year he gains it makes me a year older. Marcus was sick on his birthday so we had to cancel his surprise birthday party. So Carl took him to Show Low on Saturday and bought him his first 22 rifle, (I can't wait to shoot it, I love shooting guns). On Sunday he was ordained to Aaronic Priesthood, I will get pictures in his sunday clothes next week. I am so proud of this awesome boy, he is such a great example to me. I love you Marcus.

He loves this kindof cake, not sure why!

Kylee

What an awesome weekend we had. My brother Lincoln and his wife Anjane' were able to seal their beautiful baby to them on Saturday and then Lincoln blessed her on Sunday. It was just so AWESOME I don't know how else to explain it. Here are some pictures.
The cute forever Family

My parents and siblings

I wanted a picture of me and siblings, what an awesome family!

We were missing Cleona and the boys, we all missed them so much, but thank you Cleona for letting Kenny come it was awesome to have us all together even if it was for only a few hours. I can't wait until we can all be together again.

Big Day

In February we went to Utah. Our nephew Gavin was getting baptized and nephew Jonathan was being ordained to the Aaronic Priesthood. We had such a great time, it really made me miss Utah and beautiful mountains. Holly and Jordan and kids came down to visit for a few hours. I really miss seing my sister all the time, wish she wasn't so far away.

Cattle Drive

These pictures were taken the end of January. The kids got to help Grandpa Wiltbank move the cattle to a different pasture. They rode a 4-wheeler, go-cart, and two horses, plus two trucks and Carl and Carlynn on foot. I am not sure who was the most help, but I would put my bet on Carlynn. But, everyone did have alot of fun.

The three hard working cowgirls, Alyssa, Elizebeth, Olivia

Carl pushing the cows with a 4-wheeler, I never thought I would see a 4-wheeler being used to move cows!

This is Dwain an Jeremiah having some father-son time.

This picture is Marcus and Christian after an entirely too hard day!!

Corn Cob Boats

On Saturday I took Pacer and Olivia to Snowflake to play with Jayten, Jarod and Claire while Grandma was watching them. Jarod was wanting to make a walnut shell boat, so Grandpa decided that they would make Corn Cob Boats. He glued them together with hot glue. Then we took the kids down to the beaver pool on the creek. The kids floated the boats and stepped in the freezing cold water. They had a blast. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for a great day.

No more CAST

After 3 weeks my cast is off. I am so glad, except that now I have to see a physical therapist. HA! HA! Anyway it is nice to have it off and to be able to get back to normal life.
