I finally finished

"yeah," Carl said when I told him that I finally finished the third vampire book. I loved it, but I know that my family is glad that I am done. Well at least until Aug. when the 4th comes out. I enjoyed ready the books, except that they invaded my dreams. So hopefully now I can sleep better. So now I am finally going to start reading the last Harry Potter, and then Flyboys. I am enjoying reading more, I just had to tell my self that I couldn't read these books until I read my scriptures everyday. That has helped my a ton.
Just one quick story, yesterday I was helping the girls clean their room and I came into the kitchen and Marcus and his friend were doing the dishes and had cleaned up the kitchen. It was so sweet of them. I really appreciate Marcus and all he does to help out around the house. He is a great example.

Target Practice

So this slide show is pictures from Christmas Eve. We went target shooting with our friends the Leglers. Our kids had way too much fun. We had hot chocolate and popcorn. Somehow we didn't get a picture of Marcus shooting, but he was able to shot a semi automatic and a single shot 22. This really helped him decide that he wanted a gun. Which is good because he got a BB gun for Christmas.

Snow Days

In December we got major snow. The kids got 2 snow days, and we were able to play in the snow alot. The kids decided to make a snow pile in our yard and try to sled down. It didn't work to great, but it kept them busy. We went sledding over at the golf course were there is an awesome hill. Someone there had a snow board, and let Marcus try, he is hooked. So these pictures are from that day. I will be updating more this week, so all of you blog people can catch up on our lives. Have a great day.

Meisha's homecoming

In early December, we went to Tucson to see Meisha. This is Carl's niece who just came home from a mission. The kids were so excited to see her. They love Meisha. What an awesome example she is for the kids. She is already off to school at BYU working on her Masters.

Da's 80th birthday party

These pictures are from my Grandpa's 80th birthday party. It was over Thanksgiving. The entire family was supposed to be there. My kids got sick so we were the only ones not there. I took Marcus, Olivia, and Pacer. Alyssa and Carl stayed home sick. The party was alot of fun, and it was good to see all of my family home together. I love being with family.
Olivia loves Grandma, that night she very attached to grandma and was so sad when we left the party. Even though we were staying at grandma's she wanted to be with grandma.
This is my grandpa (Da), at his party. He looks great for 80 years old.
Here are the grandchildren except for Alyssa and Rance. Aren't they the cutest bunch of kids.

Marcus and Tyler

This is Marcus and his friend Tyler. His grandma lives close to us, so he comes over alot. We like having him over, and as you can see they are crazy together. They are putting pom poms on their heads.

Olivia's Birthday

This is Olivia's 3rd birthday. We let her decorate the cupcakes by herself. She did a great job. Everyone had fun. She got a Dora tent, and some clothes. It was a great day for her.
